Managing Team Member Roles

How to Change Roles
  1. 1Go to your Team page in the dashboard
  2. 2Find the team member you want to update
  3. 3Click the role dropdown next to their name
  4. 4Select their new role and confirm the change

Note: Only Owners can change team member roles

Role Change Considerations
  • Role changes take effect immediately
  • Team members are notified via email
  • Removing Owner role revokes administrative access
  • You cannot change your own role as the last Owner

Role Assignment Best Practices

Recommended Approach
  • Start everyone as Members and promote when needed
  • Limit Owner role to 1-2 trusted team leaders
  • Review roles periodically as team needs change
  • Document who has Owner access and why
Security Considerations
  • Don't give Owner access unless absolutely necessary
  • Remove Owner access when team members leave
  • Always maintain at least one active Owner
  • Monitor billing access for security purposes
