How Google Sheets Integration Works

Connect Your Google Account
Securely link your Google account using OAuth 2.0 authentication. We only request access to create and edit spreadsheets.

Export Invoices
Choose single invoices or entire batches to export. Our system creates a new spreadsheet or adds to an existing one.

Data is automatically formatted with proper headers, data types, and currency formatting for immediate use.

Single Invoice Export

Setting Up Google Sheets Integration
Initial Setup
- 1Navigate to your Sortpay dashboard and go to Settings
- 2Click "Integrations" and find "Google Sheets"
- 3Click "Connect" and authorize Sortpay to access your Google Sheets
- 4Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" status
Exporting to Google Sheets
- 1Go to any invoice or batch you want to export
- 2Click the "Export" button and select "Google Sheets"
- 3Choose to create a new spreadsheet or add to existing one
- 4The spreadsheet will open automatically in a new tab

Connection Issues
Problem: Can't connect to Google Sheets
Solution:
- • Ensure you're signed into the correct Google account
- • Check that pop-ups are enabled for Sortpay
- • Try disconnecting and reconnecting in Settings
- • Clear browser cache and cookies
Export Failures
Problem: Export fails or spreadsheet not created
Solution:
- • Verify Google Sheets connection is active
- • Check Google Drive storage space
- • Ensure you have Pro plan for Google Sheets features
- • Try exporting a smaller batch of invoices
